Logitech Revue - Google TV

I've been looking at and reading about Google TV, and especially the Logitech Revue device that's now on sale. This device is supposed to bring the full Internet experience to HDTVs, and much more.

In my research I'm a little bit concerned about how it will behave with the Scientific Atlanta 8300HDC cable box from Time Warner. It is supposed to exist BETWEEN the cable box and the TV. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with the Google TV and/or the Revue in general, and the Scientific Atlanta box specifically.

Thanks!

UPDATE (11-08-10): I've been

UPDATE (11-08-10):

I've been using the Logitech Revue box for about 2 weeks now. Overall I'd have to say I like it A LOT! My original concern as to how it would behave with my SA 8300HDC box turned out to be a non-issue. It works just fine!

The only minor issue I have with the Revue is that it introduces a bit of "latency". With the data passing thru the Revue box, it's now about 1/2 a second behind the audio and video coming out of my small flat-screen Kitchen TV. So, when I can hear audio from both sources I get an echo effect that's kind of annoying.

I have to say that it's really nice to be able to pop out to the internet right on my TV whenever a question comes up. And with the included Picture-In-Picture I can do that without missing any of the show.

I've checked into ESPN3.com and it's streaming content just a litle bit. Once it loads it plays very smoothly. It seems there may be some nice content available, but I really haven't spent too much time looking for it.

The included Pandora app works just fine, with the added plus of no "commercials" like you get in the PC based app. Amazon's streaming app seems a bit clunky and difficult to use, though.

Enhancements to the Revue are promised thru future pushed updates and I really think the product will only continue to get better. To me, this is the future of TV!

Thanks for the post I am

Thanks for the post
I am thinking about purchasing the Logitech Revue.
I also have the SA 8300hdc.
I am not sure if yours is a DVR or not.
Will the search function also search your DVR?
I use the DVR all the time and am curious if this truley integrates with the Cable Box.
Any further info or thought on the device would be greatly appreciated
