WWRS out of Mayville, WI

I live in Neenah and use a large combination VHF/UHF antenna at 50 feet for reception of the Green Bay stations. I also have a UHF-only antenna at about 35 feet aimed south to pick up a TBN station called WWRS Channel 51 (actual 43) out of Mayville, WI. The two antennas are combined into one feedline and split by an amplified coupler. Green Bay stations come in great, and up until a few weeks ago, so did WWRS out of Mayville. Once in a while in bad weather WWRS would pixilate, but lately it barely comes in and most of the time I have no signal from them. Anybody else notice this? Just trying to determine if I have an antenna problem or if WWRS is having transmitter or tower problems.

I can't be sure why you are

I can't be sure why you are having a problem, but perhaps they have lowered their power. WWRS (43) in Mayville has requested to raise their power from 300kW to 725kW. This request is listed by the FCC as being dated 11-02-11.

Perhaps they are raising their power and need to first lower it to accomplish the changes.

Thanks for the reply

Thanks for the reply Willscary. Yes, I was thinking the same thing. Like maybe they need to change out the feedline and/or antenna to handle the higher power and are operating on some type of temporary antenna or something. I guess I'll still climb up my tower if a nice day comes along and re-check my south-bound UHF yagi. WWRS is owned by Trinity Broadcasting in California and I can't seem to find any local Wisconsin contacts to send an inquiry to.
