Back in 2008 when WLUK and Time Warner were getting into a flap about retransmission, I was lucky enough to get a direct contact with Time Warner's Director of Digital Communications. We had talked about getting me a hands-on tour of TWC's facilities in Appleton but the appropriate strings were never able to get pulled to make that happen.

Fortunately, he just did what I was hoping to do then at his New York City facilities, in showing you a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to get cable TV to your house. This is really informative stuff for those of you, like me, that are really into seeing "how the sausage is made," so to speak.

FoxCitiesTV: I'm just glad he's doing actual meteorology again, and not those goofy Oneida Casino ads he did a year or two ago. Good to see him back in the saddle.

TvBoy: From what most people say, Journal doesn't care much about NBC 26. So them spending money would be totally unrealistic. People will watch Larry, but not much else.
