Still old topics and rarely added comments

This home page is definitely more attractive, but it still contains OLD forums and very old last added comment to them. I was hoping we'd see a change in topics and newness, but it looks like it will not happen.
Same old, same old.

I am not surprised by the lack of comments again. Has membership dropped or what exactly is the problem with this site ? Some of these comments could just as easily be emails between 2-3 people. I almost feel like an intruder. I suspect this, too, will be without comments. Maybe the time has come, Mark, just to shut it down and end it.

If you have such a tremendous problem with this site, why do you keep coming to it?

Instead of creating topics that pertain to the subject of this site, you keep adding topics about how bad this site is. I would welcome any constructive suggestions on improving the site or fostering new discussions. But just constantly harping on how shitty a job I'm doing helps no one.

What should we comment on?

What should we comment on? Sean and I have struck up a mini conversation about Wausau reception via the "Reception Reports" section of the forum. I am more than happy to throw in my 2 cents worth for those with reception problems or something else that I might be able to help with, but there are not a whole lot of questions being asked.

I am not a big fan of giving many "opinions" to others. It is not my forte.

I like ths site and hope it continues and prospers, but face it...this is a site targeting a small group in a very small demographic area. Look at the Green Bay Local HDTV Thread on AVS. It has been mostly silent since early spring with only a few people posting here and there. This place actually does better than that monster site does as far as local Northeast Wisconsin posting.

I would have to agree that

I would have to agree that the lack of activity disappoints me too. But instead I try to take action by finding stuff that might spur conversation. Reality seems to show that it is rather difficult to find topics right now. I know I have little time to do the research involved and I can imagine Mark has far less after getting married and buying a house. You could try referencing the site on other local websites (example: newspaper) when you see something related to this site.
