How refreshing! A retransmission dispute that doesn't involve FOX 11.

Journal Broadcast Group is threatening to yank its local stations from DISH Network after the two sides couldn't come to an agreement on a contract.  Journal owns WGBA (NBC26) and operates WACY (MyNetworkTV channel 32).  Both would apparently be affected by a blackout.

Journal is seeking what it calls a "modest increase" in compensation, and possibly an attempt to gain carriage for its subchannel stations like THISCOOLTV.  DISH has apparently rebuffed such a proposal.

Journal has already launched its own "informational" website, www.jbganswers.com.
